Bill Guerci

Bill Guerci is the current director at INDEPENDENCE CARE SYSTEM INC. Bill has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry.

Bill started their career as the vice president at Empire BlueCross Blue Shield from 1996 to 2000. Bill then became the chief financial officer at NYLCare Health Plan from 1993 to 1996. In 2002, they became the chief financial officer at GHI until 2005.

From 2005 to 2018, they were the area president at Solid Benefit Guidance/Arthur J Gallagher. In 2018, they became the chief financial officer at EmpiRx Health until 2020.

Bill has overseen the transformation of the financial function to move the company from startup mode to that of an established growth company. Bill also developed an overall risk management tool to help the company manage the financial commitments to each of its clients. This overall risk tool became an important to the management of the overall profitability of the company.

Bill Guerci is a certified public accountant who graduated from Manhattan College.
