Anne Brooks

Anne Brooks is a dedicated education professional with extensive experience in teaching English Language Arts. Currently serving as a sixth-grade language arts teacher at Independence Charter School since May 2013, Anne implements differentiated instruction and project-based learning to engage diverse learners and enhance student performance. Previous experience includes a student teaching role at Horace Howard Furness High School, where Anne executed a curriculum aimed at improving student graduation rates and managed multiple classrooms. Prior to teaching, Anne worked as a marketing assistant at Taylor & Francis Group, supporting journal marketing efforts and enhancing operational efficiency. Anne holds a Master of Science in Education from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Connecticut.
