Ankit Thakkar

Ankit Thakkar, MBA, is an experienced finance professional currently serving as a Sr. Operational Financial Analyst at Independence Contract Drilling since August 2019. In this role, Ankit interfaces with various stakeholders to ensure accurate rig performance reporting, manages monthly client billings, and conducts extensive financial analysis. Prior positions include Fixed Asset Accountant at Sidewinder Drilling LLC and Financial Analyst at Donovan and Watkins, among others. Ankit has a strong educational background, holding an MBA in Finance from the University of Houston-Victoria, along with a Bachelor's degree in Applied Technology and an Associate degree in Business Administration from Brazosport College. Additionally, Ankit co-founded the MBA Association at UHV and served as Treasurer for Gamma Beta Phi, showcasing leadership and organizational skills.
