Douglas Thomas

Douglas Thomas has a diverse work experience in the construction industry, starting with a position as a Project Manager at Hull & Associates, Inc in 1996. Douglas then moved on to work as a Resident Engineer at Parsons Aviation from 2002 to 2004. In 2005, they joined Hammond Construction, Inc as a Project Manager for a short period before transitioning to Independence Excavating, Inc. At Independence Excavating, Inc, they worked their way up from Project Engineer to Project Manager and finally to Senior Project Manager, a position they held from 2010 to 2017. Currently, Douglas holds the role of Vice President of Project Management at Independence Excavating, Inc, which they have held since December 2017.

Douglas Thomas earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Ohio Northern University, where they studied from 1991 to 1996. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications including General Contractor licenses from the states of Virginia, Arizona, North Carolina, Tennessee, West Virginia, and Florida. Douglas is also a Professional Engineer (PE) licensed in the states of West Virginia and Ohio.
