Joseph Fawzy

Joseph Fawzy is an experienced professional in the civil engineering field, currently serving as an Assistant Project Manager and formerly as a Project Engineer at Independence Excavating, Inc. since August 2022. Prior to this role, Joseph worked as a Field Engineer at Flatiron Construction from June 2019 to August 2022, contributing to the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel Expansion project by applying technical knowledge in design review and operations. Joseph began a career in the industry after earning a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Old Dominion University in 2021, with earlier experiences including internships and management roles in hospitality and retail.
