Carly Scholten

Carly Scholten is a seasoned professional in the animal welfare and veterinary industries, currently serving as the Director of Client Services at Independence Pet Group since January 2022. Previously, Carly had a transformative career at The Animal Foundation from 2009 to 2022, holding various leadership roles including Chief Operating Officer, where oversight of operations for one of the largest single-site shelters in the U.S. was paramount. Carly also functioned as Chief Transitions Officer, providing critical support during leadership transitions, and as Executive Consultant, offering strategic assistance to the CEO and executive leadership team. Additionally, Carly gained experience as Hospital Office Manager at Vetco Total Care and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Sciences from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
