Daryl J. Zee

Daryl J. Zee is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the insurance and employee benefits sectors. Currently serving as Executive Vice President for the Pet Division at Independence Pet Group since August 2020, Daryl is responsible for client onboarding, benefits administration, and the development of innovative pet insurance products. Prior to this role, Daryl held the position of Senior Vice President at Madison National Life Insurance Company from January 2017 to August 2020, leading the voluntary benefits practice and overseeing various insurance products. Daryl's earlier roles at The IHC Group spanned from 2003 to 2016, where leadership responsibilities included managing key accounts and developing a diverse range of health insurance products. Daryl also served as Vice President of Product Development & Implementation and Vice President of Sales at Diversified HealthCare Services from 1991 to 2000, achieving significant growth in the excess loss insurance market. Daryl holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Marketing from San Francisco State University.
