Megan Bates

Megan Bates is an experienced People and Culture Manager with a strong background in human resources. Currently serving at Independence Pet Group since January 2023, Megan previously held the same title at Pethealth Inc. from July 2018 to February 2023, where also worked as a People and Culture Specialist and HR Administration Analyst. Prior to that, Megan was an HR Coordinator at Redline Communications for a brief period, managing HR programs and payroll independently. Earlier experience includes a Human Resources Assistant role at The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, where support was provided in HR operations and training development. Megan holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photographic Studies from Toronto Metropolitan University and a Postgraduate Certificate in Human Resources Management from George Brown College.
