Cortney Heiner

Cortney Heiner has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Cortney started their career in 2010 as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant at Independence Rehab and worked there until 2012. Cortney then joined Eduro Healthcare, LLC as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in May 2012 and remained in that role until June 2017. Cortney returned to Independence Rehab in 2017 and held various positions including Quality Assurance Compliance Specialist from June 2017 to July 2020, Compliance Manager from July 2020 to January 2021, and currently serves as the Director of Clinical Operations and Regional DOR since January 2021.

Cortney Heiner pursued their education at Salt Lake Community College, where they obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program. Cortney completed this program in 2010. Additionally, they obtained the certification of a Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant from the State of Utah's Department of Occupational and Professional Licensing in August 2010. In July of the same year, they also became a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
