Carol Lewis

Carol Lewis has extensive experience in education and mentoring, currently serving as a District Mentor for Independence School District since June 2022, where support is provided to first-year teachers through coaching sessions and professional development. Previously, Carol was a Training Specialist and part of the Leadership Team at Lee A Tolbert Community Academy, overseeing staff coaching and professional initiatives. Carol has also held roles as an Administrator and Educator, demonstrating a strong commitment to fostering student growth and creating engaging learning environments. Prior experience includes managing a successful salon business and serving as an Educator Color Specialist, focusing on training licensed cosmetologists. Carol holds a Master of Education in Educational/Instructional Technology from the University of Central Missouri and multiple degrees in Elementary Education.
