Martina Kane

Martina Kane is an experienced policy and research professional currently serving as Head of Policy and Research at Independent Age since October 2024. Previously, Martina held the position of Senior Policy Officer at Alzheimer's Society and worked at The Health Foundation from May 2017 to October 2024, where responsibilities included Deputy Head of Health Equals in a job-share capacity, as well as roles as Senior Strategy and Impact Manager and Policy and Engagement Manager. Earlier in their career, Martina worked as a Policy Officer and Marketing Project Officer at Rethink Mental Illness from January 2007 to December 2010. Martina holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Oxford and a Master of Arts in Psychodynamic Counselling from the University of Reading.
