Jason Benway

Jason Benway has a diverse work experience, starting in 1999 as a Network Administrator at Clarion Technologies. Jason then worked as a Network Engineer at JSJ Corporation from 2000 to 2001, where they designed Windows 2000 Active Directory and researched desktop management options. From 2001 to 2008, Jason worked at GHSP as a Senior Network Administrator, where they implemented a consolidated data center and managed various teams. At JSJ Corporation, they held multiple roles from 2008 to 2019, including roles such as Infrastructure Manager, Data Center Architect, and System/Storage Engineer. During this time, they led infrastructure and operational application teams, designed and supported new projects, and implemented various technologies. Since 2019, Jason has been working as the VP of IT Operations at Independent Bank, where they have directed IT operations and security teams, managed SharePoint migration, and improved WAN spend. Overall, Jason Benway has gained extensive experience in IT operations, infrastructure management, and network administration throughout their career.

Jason Benway completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Central Michigan University, where they studied from 1994 to 1999.
