Michael Laforge

Michael LaForge is an experienced network engineer currently employed at Independent Connections since March 2021. Previously, Michael served as a Network Administrator and HIPAA Security Officer at Columbia Memorial Health in Hudson, NY, from April 1998 to March 2021, where responsibilities included designing, engineering, and administering network, data center, server, virtualization, and telecommunication operations for a regional health system with multiple locations. Earlier in the career, Michael worked as a Client Service Representative and Lead Phlebotomist at MDS Hudson Valley Laboratories from February 1991 to April 1998, and as a Firefighter/EMT for the West Point Fire Department from 1986 to 1989. Michael pursued studies at Marist College from 1997 to 1998.
