Sarah Roger is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in project leadership and stakeholder engagement. Currently serving as the Project Communications Lead and Senior Advisor for Communications at the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) since October 2018, Sarah plays a crucial role in supporting the Market Renewal Program, Ontario’s largest transformational project in the electricity market. Previous roles include leading internal communications for the HR portfolio at the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) and serving in various capacities within Metrolinx, where Sarah managed communications teams and developed strategies for enhancing public image and customer engagement. With an educational foundation that includes a Post-Graduate Certificate in Corporate Communications and Public Relations from Centennial College and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Communication Studies from McMaster University, Sarah brings valuable expertise in strategic communications across multiple sectors.
