Colby Taylor

Colby Taylor, MSA, currently serves as a Regional Advisor Consultant and has held multiple roles, including Sr. Due Diligence Analyst and Due Diligence Analyst for Alternative Investments, at Independent Financial Group, LLC since May 2018. In this capacity, Colby focuses on due diligence and analysis of various alternative investment products, preparing comprehensive internal reports for senior management. Prior experience includes serving as an Audit & Assurance Senior Assistant at Deloitte, where Colby contributed to engagements with Fortune 500 clients in the Retail industry and other sectors, analyzing financial statements, evaluating internal controls, and managing cross-border team relationships. Earlier roles include an internship with Deloitte and a position as Senior Accountant with Cal Poly Conference & Event Planning. Colby holds a Master’s Degree in Financial Accounting and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Business/Management from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
