Kostas Agathakis

Kostas Agathakis is an experienced executive specializing in business development and digital transformation, currently serving as the Chief Business Development & Digital Transformation Officer at IPTO-Independent Power Transmission Operator since April 2023. Prior to this role, Kostas held pivotal positions at Hellenic Electricity Distribution Network Operator SA (HEDNO), including Chief Supply Chain & Digitalization Officer and General Manager of Corporate Functions, leading teams of up to 400 employees. With a background in consultancy at a start-up and Vodafone, Kostas directed supply chain and procurement teams in Greece and Albania, driving significant transformations and strategic initiatives. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the University of Dundee, an MSc in Electrical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, and a CIPS Level 4 certification from the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply.
