Manousos Manousakis

Manos Manousakis is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the energy, telecommunications, and governmental sectors. Currently serving as the Chairman and CEO of the Independent Power Transmission Operator (IPTO) since June 2017, and as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Ariadne Interconnection since January 2019, Manousakis has also contributed to organizations such as ENTSO-E and the OTE Group of Companies in various directorial capacities. Notably, Manousakis held the position of Secretary General at the Hellenic Ministry of Economy, Infrastructure, Shipping and Tourism, where strategic reforms were implemented, and served as a Scientific Associate in the Hellenic Parliament, coordinating major policy projects. Manousakis's academic credentials include a PhD in Transmission Control Techniques from the National Technical University of Athens, complemented by an Engineer’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the same institution.
