Elizabeth Whitney

Elizabeth Whitney has a diverse and extensive work experience. Elizabeth is currently the Director of Strategic Sourcing for SUBWAY Restaurants at the Independent Purchasing Cooperative. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Strategic Sourcing, Food and Beverage at Carnival Cruise Line. Elizabeth also held positions at Independent Purchasing Cooperative, where they served as the Senior Purchasing Manager for SUBWAY Restaurants North America for proteins and as a Purchasing Manager for SUBWAY Restaurants. Before joining the Independent Purchasing Cooperative, they worked at Walmart as a Senior Sourcing Manager, where they led sourcing produce commodity portfolio for all US Walmart Stores. Elizabeth also has experience in the shipping industry, working at ED&F Man as a Senior Operations Coordinator and at Cargill Inc. as part of the vessel logistics team. Elizabeth began their career in the field of community health as a Community Health Volunteer in the Peace Corps.

Elizabeth Whitney has a BA in International Studies from the School for International Training and an MA in International Trade Policy from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey.
