Mauricio Vargas

Mauricio Vargas is an experienced data engineer and database administrator with a strong background in database management and systems administration. Since January 2010, Mauricio has been working at Independent Purchasing Cooperative, progressing through roles from database administrator to senior database administrator and currently serving as a data engineer. Prior experience includes a position as a database administrator at Bupa from February 2009 to December 2009, and a senior system administrator role at Phone1 Inc from October 2002 to January 2009. Mauricio holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Universidad Central in Bogota, Colombia, completed from 1989 to 1995.
