Mehboob "Mike" Lakhpaty has over 35 years of Subway experience and owns forty-seven restaurants across South Texas.
Mike has been involved with the Subway® system at local and regional levels. His priority is to provide ongoing market support, increase sales, and control costs for franchisees. As a former Subway Development Agent (DA) and current franchisee in the South Texas coastal area, he understands working with large groups of franchisees. Mike manages the development of 220 plus stores and everything related to their development.
As an IPC Board member, he will continue to put the franchisee’s needs first. Mike wants to impact the vendor process and work for franchisees to provide the best customer service experience possible. His experience as a DA and franchisee will help to recognize the strength and weaknesses of vendors and help change the franchise member experience.

IPC was incorporated in September 1996 to serve as the purchasing and services cooperative for Subway® Franchisees in the United States and Canada. Created through the cooperative efforts of the Subway® Franchisees, it is a model of what can be achieved through a strategic approach to services, supplies, equipment, logistics, information and supplier relations in a multi-billion dollar food service business.
