Lasanka Perera

Lasanka Perera is the CEO of Independent Reserve in Singapore and the COO. Independent Reserve was awarded Crypto Exchange of the Year in 2019 and ranked as the 8th Most Innovative Company in Banking + Finance in the same year. Lasanka is also the Co-Founder/Director of Independent Reserve, a cryptocurrency exchange known for its security and user-friendly interface. Prior to Independent Reserve, Lasanka co-founded and served as a Director at Tat Capital, a company specializing in corporate finance and FX. Additionally, Lasanka held key positions at Global FX Partners, Global Investment Partners, AFSL, IronPivot Asset Management Pty Ltd, Admiral Markets Group, Focus Securities, Société Générale, and Stonebridge. Lasanka earned a B.Econ in Econometrics, Finance, and Economics from the University of Sydney.
