Umer Rupani

Umer Rupani is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in nonprofit management and organizational strategy. Umer served as Associate Director at HOPE from 2012 to January 2019 and held the same title at the African Education Network from June 2017 to February 2018. Umer worked as National Program Manager at Jubilee Monuments Corp. from July 2018 to August 2022, leading initiatives like The Camp Mosaic Project, which engaged thousands of youth. Umer was also Executive Director of the Georgia Muslim Voter Project from July 2018 to December 2020, successfully mobilizing voter registration efforts. Following roles as Grants Manager at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation from July 2022 to January 2025 and Associate Director at Arabella Advisors from June 2022 to August 2023, Umer currently serves as Director of Impact Measurement and Knowledge Management at Independent Sector. Umer holds a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Georgia and a Master’s Degree in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from The George Washington University.
