Laila de Miranda has a diverse work experience in various roles related to writing, coordination, and marketing. Laila has been working as an Independent Writer since 2019, focusing on copywriting, creative writing, and translation for children. In 2021, they worked as a Conversational Copywriter & Storyteller at Helpr.ai for a few months. Prior to that, from 2017 to 2019, they were a Coordinator in-company English courses at Taalcentrum-VU. Between 2012 and 2017, they worked as a Journalist and Copywriter as a freelance writer for clients like MediaPlanet, De Telegraaf, Residence, and Lindanieuws. Before that, they worked at De Telegraaf as an Entertainment and Media Editor and Reporter from 2008 to 2012, including a role as the Coordinator of prive.nl. Laila de Miranda obtained an M.A. degree in Film and Television Studies from the University of Amsterdam, where they studied from 2000 to 2006. In addition, they obtained a certification as a Certified Conversation Designer from the Conversational Academy in December 2019.
