Christopher Stoner, CISSP, CCSP, PMP

Christopher Stoner has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Christopher is currently serving as a Cybersecurity Manager at Indev, LLC, providing IT security expertise to the Department of Transportation. In this role, they are a senior security software engineer focusing on integrating security into the DevOps lifecycle. Previously, they served as a full-time lead assessor for the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), while also supporting other DOT modes as an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) and cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert (SME).

Prior to their current role, Stoner worked at Deloitte as a Senior Consultant and Deputy Project Manager for Cybersecurity. Christopher conducted reviews using NIST standards and ISO.

Stoner also has experience in non-IT roles. Christopher worked at ING as a Manager of Retirement Services, managing a team of 40 customer service agents and addressing escalated client issues. Christopher also worked as a New Business Specialty Markets Case Manager, reviewing insurance policies and acting as a liaison between agencies and underwriters.

Earlier in their career, Stoner worked at Thomson Reuters, where they held various roles. Christopher managed a global team of helpdesk agents as a Manager of Wealth Management Support. Christopher oversaw daily production, monitored phone queues, and addressed escalated client issues. Christopher also worked as a Senior Analyst, where they advised colleagues on escalated product and process issues. Additionally, they supported internal applications, websites, and technology as part of the Customer Infrastructure Group and provided training to clients as an Analyst and Lead Analyst.

Christopher Stoner, CISSP, CCSP, PMP, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences, with a focus on Marine Biology, from the University of Maryland, College. Their education history also includes attending Minot State University from 2012 to 2014, where they pursued studies in Management Information Systems.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Christopher Stoner has obtained several certifications.
