George Akoji, CGRC

George Akoji, CGRC, has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. Starting in 2020, George worked at Indev as an Information System Security Officer, where they managed four systems, implemented the Risk Management Framework (RMF), and improved enterprise-wide security standards. Prior to that, they were an Information Security Analyst at Sedetos Global Solutions Inc from 2016 to 2020, where they collaborated with stakeholders for Assessment and Authorization exercises and created security assessment reports. From 2013 to 2016, George worked as an Information Assurance Analyst at AlphaHill, assisting in vulnerability assessments and responding to security breaches. Additionally, they have experience as an Accountant at Abcon Financial Services, where they prepared financial reports and implemented new accounting software, and as a Program Management Analyst at the University of Maryland University College, where they administered financial systems and provided customer service.

George Akoji, CGRC, has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland Global Campus. George obtained this degree, specializing in Business Administration and Management, General, from 2004 to 2008. In addition to their degree, George Akoji also holds a certification in Governance, Risk and Compliance, which they obtained from (ISC)² in January 2019.
