Connie Lam

Connie Lam has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Connie started their career at IBM in 2000 as a DB2 UDB Advance Support, where they gained expertise in IBM DB2 relational database on distributed platforms. Connie then moved on to become a Technical Lead and Senior Software Engineer for DB2 UDB for LUW, demonstrating over 13 years of experience.

In 2014, Connie joined IBM's Cloud Data Services division as the Spark Service Leader, responsible for designing, building, and managing multiple Cloud Data Services globally. Connie played a key role in implementing DevOps principles and practices within the division, including CI/CD pipeline, blue/green deployment, and self-healing operation systems. Connie also gained expertise in various technologies such as Linux, Softlayer Cloud, IBM Bluemix, Spark, DB2, Cloud Foundry, and engineering tools like Git, Chef, Jenkins, IBM UrbanCode Deploy, and Docker.
