Jacky Chow

Jacky Chow has a diverse range of work experience, beginning in 2005 as a PHP Web Developer at Tomcom Link Corporation. At this company, they contributed to HUB magazine advertisements and built a professional website using JavaScript and PHP.

In 2006, Jacky transitioned to a C#.NET Developer role at Qualicom Innovations, where they developed Windows Services for automation purposes and assisted in the development of a POS system using the C# .NET framework.

The next step in Jacky's career was as a PHP Developer at Millennium Research Group in 2007. Here, they developed online surveys and research management tools using PHP and MySQL database. Jacky also conducted beta testing for online software and written reports.

From 2007 to 2012, Jacky worked as a Perl Developer at Bell Media - Sympatico.ca. Jacky served as the Chief Architect for the Mobile Feed Engine and developed a feed monitoring alert system. Jacky also managed and maintained various feeds such as NewsML, RSS, and multiple format video feeds.

Starting in 2012, Jacky joined Casale Media as a Software Engineer, focusing on designing and developing GUI infrastructure and features. Jacky utilized Perl, JavaScript (jQuery), AngularJS, and MySQL.

Currently, Jacky is employed at Index Exchange since 2015 as a Senior Software Engineer. In this role, they serve as a full stack developer using Angular and NodeJS/GoLang frameworks. Jacky is experienced in creating CI/CD pipelines, deploying and running services in Kubernetes, and monitoring systems with Prometheus. Additionally, Jacky conducts code and design reviews for product features.

Jacky Chow attended Father Michael McGivney from 1993 to 1998, where they did not pursue any specific degree or field of study. Later, from 1998 to 2004, they enrolled at the University of Toronto, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
