Xiaozhou Zhang (Joseph)

Xiaozhou (Joseph) Zhang has had a diverse range of work experience. Xiaozhou (Joseph) started their career as a Research Student at the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2011, where they stayed until 2012. Xiaozhou (Joseph) then worked as a Software Engineer Intern at IBM for a short period in 2012. In 2013, they took on an Intern role at BMO Financial Group before joining McMaster University as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant. At McMaster University, they were responsible for leading course tutorials in Business Statistics, Calculus, and Linear Algebra, as well as advising students on their course projects. Since 2016, they have been working at Index Exchange as a Software Engineer.

Xiaozhou (Joseph) Zhang completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Geographic Information Science from China University of Geosciences from 2008 to 2012. After that, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computational Science and Engineering from McMaster University, graduating from 2013 to 2015. In addition to their academic qualifications, they also obtained a certification in "The Data Scientist's Toolbox" from Coursera Verified Certificates in June 2014.
