Yuriy Malkov

Yuriy Malkov has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Yuriy started their career as a Software Engineer at SentireFlora Inc. in 2014, where they worked until 2017. Yuriy then joined Index Exchange as a Software Engineer for a brief period from February 2016 to September 2016. After that, they transitioned to the role of Solutions Engineer at Index Exchange from September 2016 to September 2018. From September 2018 to March 2019, Yuriy served as a Data Engineer at Index Exchange before being promoted to the position of Data Engineer II, which they currently hold.

In 2017, Yuriy also undertook freelance work as a Hardware Engineer at modgarden, where they conducted hardware tests and fixes, firmware upgrades, and research on Thread protocol.

Prior to these roles, Yuriy worked at BlackBerry as an Audio Electronics Engineer Associate from April 2012 to September 2013.

During their time at Ryerson University from September 2009 to April 2012, Yuriy held the position of President of the Russian Student Association (RSA). In this role, they assisted new students with their university adaptation and organized various school and cross-school events.
