Rakesh Kumar

Rakesh Kumar is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in promoting India's handicrafts and enhancing the country's export capabilities. Since 1986, Rakesh Kumar has served as the Director General of the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH), an organization focused on supporting and increasing the export of high-quality handicrafts. In addition, Rakesh Kumar has been the Chairman of India Expo Mart & Centre since 2015, overseeing a vast complex dedicated to promoting various exhibitions. Rakesh Kumar also holds the position of Executive Member and Ex Secretary at the National Centre for Design & Product Development (NCDPD) since 1999 and previously served as President of the Indian Exhibition Industry Association from 2013 to 2015.
