Bappaditya Maity

Bappaditya Maity is an experienced electrical engineer specializing in substation operation, maintenance, and testing. Currently serving as an Executive at India Power since August 2022, Bappaditya conducts comprehensive testing of various electrical components and performs maintenance to ensure operational efficiency. Previously, as Site In-charge at JBS Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., oversight of operation and maintenance at the 400KV GIS in Darbhanga was a primary responsibility. Bappaditya also held the role of Service Engineer at ABB, focusing on testing and commissioning under the DFCCIL project, and worked as an Electrical Testing and Commissioning Engineer at MM Power Electrical, where testing for switchgear and substations up to 400KV was conducted. Bappaditya holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from MCKV Institute of Engineering, completed in 2017.
