Soumyadeep Barman

Soumyadeep Barman has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Soumyadeep currently serves as the Vice President - Head of Cash Operations and Reconciliation at India1 Payments Limited since June 2018. Prior to this, they worked as the General Manager Marketing at Aircel Ltd. from February 2012 to June 2018, where they were responsible for driving revenue growth for the organization. Soumyadeep also held the position of General Manager Marketing at Reliance Communications from November 2010 to February 2012, overseeing the Customer Value Management function. Soumyadeep has also worked at Vodafone Essar as a Senior Manager Marketing from February 2005 to November 2010. Soumyadeep has prior experience in the banking sector, having worked as a Manager at ABN AMRO Bank from January 2003 to January 2005. Before that, they worked at Arvind Lifestyle Brands Limited as a Sales Manager, responsible for operations and business volumes in the East region. Soumyadeep's career started at SBI Card as an Area Sales Manager from May 2001 to April 2002. Soumyadeep also worked as an Area Sales Manager at Britannia Industries Limited and as an Area Sales Executive at Wrigley earlier in their career.

Soumyadeep Barman completed their Bachelor of Arts Honors degree in Economics from Jadavpur University from 1992 to 1995. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a specialization in Marketing from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad between the years 1995 and 1997.
