Kavita Bhatia

Kavita Bhatia currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at INDIAai, where responsibilities include leading strategic initiatives to drive innovation and growth in the artificial intelligence sector. With extensive experience in technology and operations, Kavita has played a pivotal role in the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology since May 2000, notably spearheading the Emerging Technologies Division and contributing to significant national projects such as the IndiaAI Mission. Previous positions include leading the e-Governance Division and serving as Project Leader at Ascom India Pvt Ltd., where Kavita was instrumental in designing India's first Smart Card-based payment system. Academic qualifications include a BSc Tech in Electronic Instrumentation from Watumull Institute and a BSc in Physics from SIES College.
