With close to 20,000 trekkers in a year, we are India’s largest and safest trekking organisation — but there is more to Indiahikes than that. Indiahikes is primarily a trek documentation organization. We explore, write and document treks. We do this in great detail so that everyone can organize their own treks. Ideally, no one must need an organization like us to take them on treks. This is our philosophy. Today https://indiahikes.com/ is the largest database of trek information in the country. Through 800 plus articles and a YouTube video series, we cater to trekking interests of more than 100,000 followers across Social Media. Our growth story over the last 12 years has set the standards for trekking in our country. Most trails in India, trekking processes, safety systems and equipment have been introduced to Indian trekking by us. We are proud of our legacy. Green Trails -- one of our core campaigns started in 2013, aims at leaving the mountains in a better condition than before. Through this mission, we bring down tonnes of garbage every year. We also conduct Outdoor Education programs for students from India’s premier educational institutions. Since 2012, a credit based PGP course (Himalayan Mountain Challenge) is run for students of various branches IIM (Indian Institute of Management), including Lucknow, Indore and Bangalore. In 2019, we formed our sister organization -- World of Hikes – which focuses primarily on International treks. Georgia is the first country we explored and trekked with the first batch to The Great Atsunta Pass of Georgia. At Indiahikes we believe in futuristic ways to make trekking safer and more accessible to the general populace. Innovation serves as a major motivator for us. Do you want to be a part of our journey?
