Vinod P.V.

A partner at INDIALAW, Vinod heads the Cochin office. Prior to moving to Cochin, Vinod was a part of the Firm’s Pan India litigation, Arbitration and Intellectual Property team at Pan India HQ in Mumbai. During his tenure with the firm, he has represented matters before the Supreme Court of India and the Delhi High Court.

A highly regarded Intellectual Property lawyer, Vinod has wide experience in both IP litigation, and IP filing and prosecution and has represented many clients in their patent, copyright, and trade mark infringement suits. Additionally, he is a Registered Patent Agent with the Indian Patent Office.

Vinod’s expertise also includes Commercial Law, Corporate Law and Arbitration. His extensive experience lists arbitration, mediation and execution of Awards, structuring, drafting & negotiating transactional agreements in relation to joint ventures, real estate, hospitality, information technology, derivative trading, manufacturing, finance, banking, outsourcing and licensing. Vinod has also advised many clients in their overseas investments.

Vinod completed his Masters in Intellectual Property & Technology Laws from the National University of Singapore. He commenced his law practice in 1999 with an eminent corporate lawyer, Mr. M.G. Ramachandran, in Delhi. Before joining INDIALAW, Vinod worked with Rodyk & Davidson LLP and One Legal LLC: both leading law firms in Singapore.
