Amy Webber

Amy Webber is currently a Trustee at Indian Hills Community College. Amy has held this position since July 2001.

Prior to their current role, Amy owned and operated Chapters Books & Coffee, a local bookstore in Ottumwa, IA, from August 1996 to July 2001. During their time as proprietor, they were responsible for researching and writing the business plan, securing funding, and managing the day-to-day operations of the store, which included personnel, inventory analysis and ordering, marketing, and sales.

Before their time at Chapters Books & Coffee, Amy worked as a Systems Analyst at Mutual of Omaha from August 1984 to August 1996. In this role, they wrote and enhanced COBOL programs and JCL on IBM mainframes, designed specs for other programmers, and served as project manager on small to medium sized projects. Amy also worked with various business units within the company, including Life Underwriting, Accounting, and Payroll/Benefits.

Amy Webber has an associate's degree in computer programming from Indian Hills Community College. Amy also has certification from LinkedIn in UX Design: 1 Overview, ASP.NET MVC 5 Essential Training, and Learning Entity Framework Core.
