Mohammed Uvais

Mohammed Uvais has an extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. Mohammed started their career in 2006 as an HR Manager at Sarovar Hotels & Resorts. Mohammed then joined Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces in 2007 as a Human Resources Manager, where they developed strong HR advisory skills and handled recruitment and resourcing needs for the organization. In 2013, they moved to The Oberoi Group as Head of Human Resources, where they gained experience in hotel opening, planning and implementing HR strategies, and dealing with industrial relations. In 2022, they joined Taj Hotels as the Area Human Resources Director for the South region. Overall, Mohammed Uvais has a proven track record in HR management and expertise in attracting and retaining high-quality manpower.

Mohammed Uvais completed an MBA in Human Resource from the Swiss School of Management in 2005-2006. Mohammed also obtained an MBA degree in Marketing & HR through distance education from Vinayaka Mission's Research Foundation - University from 2005 to 2007. In 2002-2005, they graduated with a B.Sc in Hotel Management from Bishop Appasamy College of Arts and Science. Additionally, in 2014, they completed 7 General Management Course Modules from Harvard Business Publishing.
