Tharindu Nilanka Abeythunga

Tharindu Nilanka Abeythunga is an experienced project manager and engineer with a robust background in managing significant projects across various sectors. Currently serving as a Project Manager at JLL since January 2022, Tharindu is leading the development of a state-of-the-art office and critical data center for HSBC in Colombo. Prior to this role, Tharindu worked as a Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Engineer at GITEC-IGIP GmbH, contributing to the construction of the largest maternity hospital in South Asia with a project value of EUR 42 million. Previous positions include Project Manager at JLL, MEP Engineer at Sierra Technology Holdings (Pvt) Ltd, and an electrical engineering trainee at LTL Holdings. Tharindu initiated the career as a telecommunications engineer trainee at Alcatel-Lucent. Tharindu holds a Master of Science in Big Data Analytics from Robert Gordon University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Information Engineering from the University of Ruhuna, Sri Lanka.
