Jyoti Ranjan Majhi is a PhD Candidate in Aerospace Engineering at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), focusing on transonic buffet in gas turbine engine fans and aerodynamic instabilities. With extensive experience at Rolls-Royce India Pvt. Ltd. as a Staff Aerothermal Engineer, Majhi specialized in aircraft engine aeroelasticity, conducting assessments for flutter and aeromechanical integrity in fan, core compressors, and turbines. Prior to this, Majhi served as a Technology Specialist at Honeywell Technology Solutions, Inc., where expertise was developed in flutter and response methods using CFX and ANSYS mechanical. Earlier experience includes a role as a Research Engineer at EMRC Engg. Mech. Research India, contributing to aircraft aeroelasticity solver development. Majhi holds a Master of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering from IISc and a Bachelor of Technology in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
