Rishita Das

Rishita Das currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) since August 2023. Prior to this role, Rishita Das worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at New York University's Dynamical Systems Laboratory from November 2021 to August 2023 and at Texas A&M University in the Turbulence Research Group from August 2016 to November 2021, where Rishita Das also completed doctoral studies as a Graduate Research Assistant. Earlier experience includes a summer research internship at the University of Stuttgart under the DAAD German Academic Exchange Service in 2015, focusing on radiation phenomena, and a summer internship at GE Power & Water in 2014, specializing in jet impingement cooling. Rishita Das earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from Texas A&M University and holds a combined Bachelor of Technology and Master of Technology degree in the same field from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
