Sudhanshu Shekhar Jha is an accomplished academic and researcher with a strong background in hyperspectral image processing and remote sensing. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor (INSPIRE faculty) at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) since July 2023, Sudhanshu has previously contributed as a Research Assistant at Leipzig University from March 2022 to May 2023 and held the position of Senior Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology from August 2018 to October 2021. Sudhanshu Jha earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Hyperspectral Image Processing from the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology in 2020 and holds a Master's Degree in Remote Sensing and GIS from BIT Mesra (2015) as well as a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science & Engineering from Uttarakhand Technical University (2013).
