Thulasiraman Natarajan

Thulasiraman Natarajan currently serves as a Grants Manager at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) since July 2019. Prior to this role, Thulasiraman held positions as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) from October 2016 to June 2019, and various roles at IISc from February 2009 to September 2016, including Research Associate, Research Scholar, and Junior Project Associate. Thulasiraman's earlier experiences include working as a Project Associate (GIS) at Google, a Lecturer/GIS trainer at Meenakshi Sundararajan Engineering College, and a Junior Researcher at the Centre for Environmental Sciences, Anna University. Thulasiraman began the career as a GIS Engineer Trainee at MFBisim Pvt. Ltd. Thulasiraman earned a Ph.D. in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences from IISc, an M.S. in RS and GIS applications to Coastal Studies from Anna University Chennai, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Geoinformatics Engineering from the College of Engineering, Guindy.
