Abhijit Majumdar

Abhijit Majumdar is a highly accomplished academic in the field of Decision Sciences, currently holding the position of R. Jaikumar Chair Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi since November 2007, where roles have included Professor, Institute Chair Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor. Majumdar's previous experience includes visiting professorships at The University of Huddersfield and the National Institute of Design in December 2021, as well as a Senior Lecturer position at the Govt. College of Engineering & Textile Technology, Berhampore from March 1999 to November 2007. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Engineering with a focus on Production and Operations Management from Jadavpur University, an MBA in Operations Management, and an M.Tech in Textile Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, as well as a B.Tech in Textile Technology from the University of Calcutta.
