Akshi Singla

Akshi Singla is an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, since January 2024. Previously, Akshi worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Gothenburg from September 2020 to December 2024, focusing on microbiota-host signaling pathways and cholera toxin pathogenesis mechanisms. Prior to that, Akshi served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Texas A&M University from September 2015 to May 2020, where research included the mechanism of bacterial attachment and lectin-glycan binding. Akshi's experience also includes teaching positions in various chemical engineering subjects and a Project Associate role at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, investigating monoclonal antibodies aggregation kinetics. Additionally, Akshi completed a summer internship at Ranbaxy Lab Limited, optimizing a continuous reactor's efficiency. Akshi holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University and a BTech in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
