Aman Verma

Aman Verma is a Doctoral Researcher at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, with a focus on biometric characteristics estimation and hand gesture recognition. Under the supervision of Professors Sumantra Dutta Roy and Seshan Srirangarajan, Aman has made significant contributions through research involving mathematical decomposition of biases in gesture recognition and the development of efficient neural network models. Prior experience includes collaborative research positions at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Motilal Nehru National Institute Of Technology, and IIT Mandi, where Aman worked on various projects ranging from brain tumor detection using deep learning to EEG-based letter decoding systems. Aman holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from the National Institute of Technology Raipur and is pursuing a PhD in Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, expected to be completed in December 2026.
