Dr. Nabi Hasan is a distinguished library professional with over 30 years of experience in various esteemed institutions. Currently serving as the Head Librarian of the Central Library at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi since April 2018, Nabi has received numerous awards for contributions to the field of library science. Prior to this role, Nabi was the University Librarian at Aligarh Muslim University, leading the largest library system in India and the second largest in Asia. Nabi's experience also includes serving as Deputy Librarian at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and holding positions at CSK Himachal Pradesh Agriculture University, where responsibilities included library administration and automation. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Library and Information Science from Guru Nanak Dev University and a Norman E. Borlaug Fellowship in Electronic Library Resources Management from Cornell University.
