Amit Singh

Amit Singh currently serves as a Post-Doctoral Equivalent Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, where research focuses on light-absorbing aerosols, dust transport, and their effects on regional climate and the cryosphere. Previously, Amit held the role of Research Scholar, concentrating on the optical and physical properties of aerosols in semi-arid regions. Additional experience includes a brief tenure as a Visiting Scholar at the Finnish Meteorological Institute. Amit Singh's academic journey includes a PhD in Environmental Engineering Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, as well as degrees in Environmental Science from the University of Allahabad and Banaras Hindu University.
