Chester Rebeiro

Chester Rebeiro is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in the field of cryptography and computer architecture. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras since January 2015, Chester Rebeiro previously held the position of Assistant Professor at the same institution. Prior to this, Chester Rebeiro worked as a Post-Doctoral Scientist at Columbia University in the City of New York from August 2013 to December 2014 and as a Senior Project Officer at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur from May 2009 to May 2013. Chester Rebeiro began a career in technology as a Member of the Technical Staff at CDAC from July 1999 to May 2009. Chester Rebeiro holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cryptography and Security as well as in Computer Architecture from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and a Master’s Degree in Cryptography and VLSI from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Education also includes studies at RV College of Engineering and National Public School.
