Satyanarayanan Seshadri

Satyanarayanan Seshadri is a distinguished professional with extensive experience in energy systems and decarbonization. Currently serving as a Founding Member at IndusDC and Founder of TRIGeN Decarbonisation, Satyanarayanan is focused on advancing sustainable technologies and electrifying process heating. As a Director and Co-founder of Wankel Energy Systems and Head of the Energy Centre at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, Satyanarayanan nurtures future talent while driving initiatives in energy efficiency, emissions reduction, and energy policy. Additionally, leadership roles include Faculty in Charge at THE ENERGY CONSORTIUM - IIT MADRAS and National Coordinator of the Industrial Energy Assessment Cell, highlighting a commitment to creating an energy-efficient India. Academic credentials include a PhD and MS in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and a BE from the University of Madras.
