Susant Kumar Satapathy

Susant Kumar Satapathy is an experienced materials management professional with a strong background in procurement and logistics within the ferrous and non-ferrous industries. Currently serving as Materials Manager at Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys Ltd since October 2015, responsibilities include managing the procurement and logistics of bulk raw materials for ferro alloys and power plant operations. Prior to this role, Susant held the position of Deputy Manager (Purchase) at Paradeep Phosphates Limited from February 2013 to September 2015, focusing on the procurement of various materials for fertilizers and water treatment processes, along with liaising with government entities. Earlier experience at Jindal Stainless Limited as Executive Materials involved the procurement of multiple raw materials for a ferro alloy unit and coal for a power plant. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Financial Management Services from the University of Madras and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from SKCG College, Parlakhemundi, Odisha.
